Who We're Looking For:

We seek a full-stack designer who excels at rapidly generating ideas, selecting the best concepts, and collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams. You should be highly proficient in various design tools to visualize, prototype, and communicate your design decisions. You are attuned to user needs and emotions, thrive in collaborative environments, and embrace complex challenges. Self-motivated and dedicated, you see projects through to completion.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with product teams to brainstorm solutions for complex design problems.
• Use data and user feedback to define user-centric product requirements.
• Create wireframes, prototypes, and interfaces for various user scenarios.
• Develop visual design components, style guides, and maintain pattern libraries.
• Partner with colleagues from business, product, engineering, and QA to execute design plans.

Qualifications

• A strong design portfolio showcasing interaction design, aesthetics, critical thinking, and decision-making.
• Ability to articulate design decisions, prioritize tasks, and communicate objectives effectively.
• Proficiency with Figma and Adobe Creative Cloud is required.
• Experience working with Design Systems is required.
• Solid understanding of semantic HTML and CSS fundamentals; experience translating design specs from Figma to CSS is required.
• Experience with UI design kits for creating click-through prototypes in HTML/CSS is a plus.
• Experience in mobile app design is a plus.
• Prior experience participating in user testing is a plus.
• Experience working remotely across multiple time zones.

- Minimum 4 years of industry experience, with ongoing learning of design trends, tools, and best practices for mobile and web platforms.

- Deep interest in design principles and curiosity about human-technology interaction.

- A B.A./B.S. in design, arts, HCI, or related field is preferred.

- Location: SF Bay Area preferred; remote work may involve travel.
