We are seeking a motivated individual for the role of Ambulatory Surgery Scheduler in Tucson, Arizona. This role involves scheduling surgical, cardiovascular, or obstetrical procedures using a computerized system, acquiring authorizations, and coordinating with medical staff to ensure smooth surgical workflows. Responsibilities include managing patient information, entering orders and charges, and acting as a liaison among staff, physicians, and patients. Location: 3838 N Campbell Ave Building 2 Tucson AZ Hours: 8:00am-5:00pm, Monday through Friday Qualifications: High school diploma/GED or equivalent. At least 2 years of medical clerical experience, preferably in hospital or physician office scheduling. Knowledge of medical terminology, payor contracts, and proficiency with word processing, spreadsheets, and scheduling systems. Excellent organizational, communication, and teamworking skills. Preferred Qualifications: Additional related education or experience. Additional Information: Must possess an Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card if working at Banner Scottsdale Sports Medicine.
