Job Description:
Underwrite transactional Cyber and Tech E&O risks as well as develop relationships with agents & brokers and CADs business development team to grow our book of business in the assigned territory. Provide market intelligence in this rapidly changing segment to insure we are competitively positioned to grow in all our specialty products. Achieve our long-term financial goals. Support our alternative distribution channels and partnerships to insure they are growing profitably. Working with the Cyber Practice lead to work collaboratively with our internal and external partners to support necessary product, coverage and rate changes for our cyber products.
Education and Experience:
Bachelors degree in Risk Management, Marketing, Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline
5+ years experience in the insurance and/or reinsurance industry.
3+ years of Cyber Liability underwriting experience and 3+ years in Cyber related field such as Cyber claims, product administration, underwriting or security etc
Commercial Underwriting and/or Marketing experience
Existing broker relationships in assigned territory
Experience in the Cyber, Tech E&O or other Management Liability products including Crime and MPL (e.g. either on the insurance or on the consulting side)
